Step 1

Clarify your blog topic

Pick a blog name/ Find a nice domain name and register it: The first step choosing your topic & finding a good blog domain name. If you not sure what to blog about, there are a few ways to find a good blog topic.

  • Life experiences: ever body has lessons they have learn through life experience. Share this knowledge can be incredibly helpful to others in similar situations.
  • A personal blog: A personal blog is a blog all about you & your life. This will include a variety of topics, from things you do on a daily basis, to random thought and musings. This is a great way to sharing you thoughts with the world without having to stick to just one topic. Choose a niche in which you can establish yourself as an authority. You probably won’t be the first person to blog about the topic you choose. Blogging about something you enjoy. If you are not excited about your topic, writing about it will be drudgery. And who wants that? Also, readers won’t be enthusiastic if you are not.
  • If you’re part of a business: If you’re part of a business company or organization, your blog should be related to the product’s or service’s you provide the cause you promote.

Once you have a topic it’s time to choose your blog name now.

You need two things: a blogging (platform + hosting ). A blogging platform puts your words into blog form & Hosting makes your blog live on the internet. Let’s get both at once.

The combination I’ve personally used, paid for and recommend to beginner is WordPress (platform) + Bluehost (Hosting). It’s simple and comes with a money-back guarantee. Plus, use the links below for a discount. Ready.

Hit the button >>Get Started<<

Click here to go to Bluehost

By the way, images may vary and it will look slightly different on mobile Phone, but the process is the same.

{The first thing we did when starting our blog was go to Bluehost and register our domain. We didn’t even need to set up Word-Press theme, which is the platform we use, since Bluehost does all that for you. Bluehost basic price is $2.75 a month, which works for 99% of people {go to this link to receive a 50% discount off the monthly price and a free domain}. Then, we did a simple free, “click” install of Word-Press through Bluehost. When we had question we were able to chat with the “live chat” at Bluehost for 100% free. They pointed us in the right direction and made start our own blog super easily.} I prefer the Choice Plus plan because it has more unlimited feature and include domain privacy. Domain privacy keep your personal contact information hidden from the public and who doesn’t want that?If you choose the Basic or Plus plan, you will have the options to add domain privacy in a minute about $1 a month.

Now, one thing you need to be careful

of is that Word-Press comes in two very different platforms. and They have almost the same name, but there are very big differences between the two WordPress (.com & org):

First, a quick explanation of terminology.Your WordPress site is made up of  the Posts and Page. Anytime you write your own words on your WordPress site, you will write them on either a Post or a Page,Here’s the difference:

  • Post are what we commonly think about when we think of a blog. These are individual articles on specific topics. For example, if you have a recipe blog you might have post like “The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies in world” and “Raspberry Lemonade.”Each post would feature one recipe. When we talk about adding new content to our blogs, we are usually referring to publish a new posts & when we scroll through a blog, we are usually scrolling through the posts.
  • Pages on the other hand, contain more permanent or unchanging information, like a Contact page or an About page ,Terms page. Pages do not show up in the blog portion of the website with posts. Instead, they are usually accessed through direct link in the navigation bar(main menu), sidebar or footer. Some pages are common on all blogs, like a Contact page and an About page, but some bloggers include other pages as well Like Privacy page FAQ page.
